Prayagraj: Atarsuiya police station has arrested five people who were gambling by betting on win or loss in a public place inside the graveyard located at Dariyabad Peepal Chauraha. Police recovered 52 playing cards, Rs 4,810 cash from Malfad, Rs 480 and three mobile phones from the spot during search of the accused. According to the police, on the information of an informer, a raid was conducted at the graveyard located at Dariyabad Peepal Chauraha. Wasim Ahmed, Monu, Gufran, Shaandar Hussain alias Motu and Parvez Khan, who were found gambling there, were arrested.
