Kalash Yatra on 650th birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas

Prayagraj: The Kalash Yatra, organized as part of the Social Harmony Pledge Campaign to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Saint Ravidas, will begin on Friday, July 31st. BJP Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta, while providing information about the Yatra and the campaign, stated that the earthen Kalash collected from Seer Govardhanpur, the birthplace of Saint Ravidas, will be dispatched via a chariot from the BJP office in Civil Lines on Friday at 10 a.m. These Kalash were distributed to the campaign coordinators in Kashi. The Kalash Yatra will travel for three to four days in each of the three assembly constituencies of the BJP Prayagraj Metropolitan Region (City North, City South, and City West).

During this period, the Kalash Yatra will pass through settlements of various sections of society, including Dalit settlements. Party workers and officials will also engage with the public during this period. The Metropolitan President stated that this Kalash Yatra is being undertaken with the message of social harmony. Saint Ravidas worked to unite the entire society, and the BJP, paying homage to him, is spreading this message. The Kalash Yatra will continue in the assembly constituencies until August 10th. District Vice President Anand Sonkar has been made the coordinator of the campaign and District Minister Sachin Jaiswal, Kanchanlata Kushwaha, Pooja Gaur have been made co-coordinators.
