Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board has appointed Mahendra Singh, Advocate, Allahabad High Court, as a panel lawyer under the Law Department. Mahendra Singh, a resident of Dharamveer Marg, Sulem Sarai, was appointed through a letter of authority issued by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Law, on the orders of the Chief Executive Officer. He will now represent the Board by effectively advocating in the cases filed or to be filed in the future against the Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board in the Allahabad High Court.

Mahendra Singh has extensive legal experience. He previously served as a standing counsel for the Uttar Pradesh government and the Government of India. He has also served as a councilor of the Allahabad Municipal Corporation. Khadi Board officials said that his experience will enable better representation of the Board’s cases in court.
