Prayagraj: On Monday, devotees performed Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva with all the rituals at Samaya Devi Temple in Katghar. The devotees worshipped Lord Shiva by anointing him with various puja materials including water, milk, curd, honey and Belpatra. During this, chants of Har Har Mahadev kept echoing in the temple premises and the atmosphere remained devotional. A large number of devotees reached the temple and had darshan of Lord Shiva and Maa Samaya Devi. The devotees prayed for happiness, prosperity, peace and well-being of their families. Prasad was distributed to the devotees at the end of the puja.

Chief Ajman Councilor Neeraj Gupta, along with his wife, former councilor Ruchi Gupta, worshipped Lord Shiva and performed Rudrabhishek and said that by performing Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva, a person’s wishes are fulfilled.

The temple priest Pandit Vishnu Tiwari performed the worship rituals as per the prescribed rituals. On the auspicious occasion of Rudrabhishek, former councilor Kanhaiya Lal Gupta, former councilor Pawan Srivastava, VHP leader Vinod Sonkar, Vineet Kesarwani, Nikhil Kesarwani, Vishal Agrahari, Satya Jaiswal, Neelima Jaiswal, Alpana Kesarwani, Anjali Kesarwani, Neelam Agrahari, Khushboo Agrahari and many other devotees were present.
