Northern Football Academy finished runners-up in Next Gen U13 Youth Cup

Prayagraj: Due to the strong performance of the players of Northern Football Academy of Prayagraj, Northern Football Academy got the honour of being the runner-up in the All India Next Generation Youth Cup Under 13 League Football Competition organized by Punjab Sporting Football Academy under the aegis of Punjab Football Association. This competition was played on the football ground of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab.

Today, all the players arrived in their hometowns by the Jammu Mail. All the players and chief coach Indranil Ghosh were given a warm welcome at Subedarganj station. All the players were vaccinated, fed sweets, and were warmly welcomed and greeted by their parents, senior players of the academy, and sports lovers.

Among the parents present were Jai Prakash Orav, Malti Mishra, Amarendra Pandey, Rajkumar, Arun Kumar, Rajesh Kumar Patel, Anjana Sahay, Rama Shankar Gupta, Dinesh Kumar Singh etc.

With 3 wins and 2 draws, Northern Academy finished runners-up in the Next Generation Youth Cup Under-13 football competition.

A total of 6 teams participated in this league competition, in which Northern Academy played 6 matches and with 3 wins and 2 draws, finished runner-up with second place in the points table. The runner-up trophy and ten thousand rupees were given to the Northern Football Academy team.
