Sanatanis take pledge of patriotism, call on all organizations to join

Prayagraj: On the eve of August 15, a tribute and foot march will be organised in the memory of immortal revolutionary and immortal martyr Thakur Roshan Singh, who sacrificed everything for the country’s independence, from Medical Square to the statue of Thakur Roshan Singh located at Swarup Rani Nehru Hospital on August 14 at 4 pm.

National General Secretary Thakur Virendra Singh, while briefing journalist Shiv Sagar Singh, explained that this foot march is not just an event, but an opportunity to remember the great revolutionaries whose sacrifices and dedication ensure that we are breathing in a free India today. On this occasion, a pledge will be taken to uphold patriotism, national love, and respect for our great men.

He said that an appeal has been made to all Sanatani organizations, social organizations, youth, women power and patriotic citizens to join the foot march in maximum numbers and pay tribute to the immortal revolutionary Thakur Roshan Singh. On this occasion, the government will also be asked to rename the Swarup Rani Nehru Hospital, currently operating at the site associated with Thakur Roshan Singh’s sacrifice and the then-Malaka Jail, as the “Amar Balidani Thakur Roshan Singh Memorial Hospital.” This will ensure future generations will always remember his sacrifice and his contribution to the freedom struggle.
