Prayagraj/Jaunpur: Nine patients of Jaunpur suffering from serious diseases have been approved financial assistance for treatment from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund. This assistance has been made available to the patients with the efforts of Girish Chandra Yadav, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Sports and Youth Welfare. With the assistance, financially weak families will get great relief in expensive treatment. Sunil Kumar Pal, resident of Siddiqpur, has been approved Rs 2.50 lakh for treatment at the Institute of Medical Sciences of BHU and W, resident of Tarapur has been approved Rs 2.50 lakh for treatment at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.
Similarly, Vinay Kumar Singh, resident of Tahirpur, has been sanctioned Rs 1.67 lakh 500 for KGMU Lucknow, Dudhnath, resident of Saidpur Gadaur, has been sanctioned Rs 2.50 lakh for Apex Super Speciality Health Care, Shyam Ji, resident of Nadiyapar, has been sanctioned Rs 75 thousand for BHU Cancer Centre and Pappu, resident of Mandi Naseeb Khan and Ashish Jaiswal, resident of Urdu Bazaar, have been sanctioned Rs 2.50 lakh each for treatment at Apex Super Speciality Health Care.
In addition, financial assistance of Rs 1.20 lakh has been approved for Sangeeta Kumari, a resident of Pachokhar, for treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), and Rs 2.50 lakh for Azad, a resident of Tarapur, for treatment at the BHU Cancer Center. Thus, a total of Rs 19,12,500 has been approved for the treatment of nine beneficiaries.
Minister of State Girish Chandra Yadav stated that providing quality treatment to those in need of serious illnesses is a priority for the government. Efforts are being made to provide all possible assistance for treatment to needy families through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund. The patients’ families expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Minister of State Girish Chandra Yadav for approving the financial assistance. The families said that this assistance has brought them great relief amid the costly treatment and will help them continue their treatment.
