Prayagraj: The Lions Club International District 321E and its affiliated clubs organized a large event at the Civil Lines protest site, All Saints’ Cathedral Church. The event was presided over by Divisional President Uday Chandani, Sub-Divisional President Umesh Chandrakad, Mayor Ajay Awasthi, and District Magistrate (DDG) Jagmohan Agarwal. A large number of women members of the Divisional Council applied tilak (a mark of the face) to Army sub-commanders, police officers, and soldiers, distributed Rakhi and sweets. They expressed their gratitude to their brave brothers and sons deployed on the border, honoring them and expressing their unwavering service and dedication to the nation. Media Chairperson Lalu Mittal reported that approximately fifteen thousand Rakhis and three hundred kilograms of sweets were presented to the Army sub-commanders, soldiers, and women officers at the event. The brave soldiers deployed on the borders work diligently to protect the country, be it the freezing desert, the snow-capped mountains, or the inaccessible gorges.

Members of 30 clubs: 500 male and female members were present at the venue, prominent among them were Satish Tandon Kunwar BM Singh, Dr. RK Chauhan, Bijendra Vajpayee PRO, Himanshu Gupta, Anil Tandon, Kalpana Agarwal, Inder Madhyan, Pankaj Rastogi, Meena Madhyan, Pradeep Gupta, Pradeep Bir, Rita Bir, Reena Jaiswal, Anjana Shukla, Anoop Singh, Vishal Khare, Region Chairperson Rohit Jaiswal, Rohit Gupta, Neeraj Mehrotra, Poonam Mehrotra, Sanjay Chaddha, Dhirendra Shankar Mishra, Mala Mishra, Nitin Yasharth and many former Mandal Presidents of Region and Zone.

The president, general secretary, treasurer, and others were present. Finally, everyone sang patriotic songs and paid homage to their brave sons. Mayor Ajay Awasthi and Jagadmohan Agarwal conducted the program, and Lalu Mittal delivered the vote of thanks.
