Prayagraj: The Ashutosh Memorial School in Dhanicha-Hanumanganj celebrated the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of our great country and an outstanding philosopher and educationist, as Teachers’ Day. The school children enthusiastically celebrated the occasion by feeding cake to the teachers and entertaining them. All the teachers cut a cake together, and the students honored their teachers by presenting them with gifts.

Addressing the students and teachers, the school’s president, Professor J.P.N. Mishra, said that if students respect their teachers, they will continue to inspire them to do everything possible to progress, and this is the relevance of Teachers’ Day. On this occasion, a Class 4 student said in her melodious poem, “Teachers are treasures of knowledge; it depends on us how much we can take from them.” School Director Dr. Girish Kumar Pandey extended his best wishes to the teachers on this occasion.
