Minister Nandi inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp. Minister Nandi honored children achieving normal nutritional status under the SAM/MAM category, their parents, and the associated Anganwadi workers/helpers with certificates, robes, and gifts. On this occasion, a live broadcast of the Chief Minister’s program in Ayodhya was broadcast from Rajshree Mandapam, which was seen and heard by the people present there.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Nandi said that whether it’s about ensuring the nutrition of children from poor families in villages, neighborhoods, and settlements, or providing mothers with appropriate information about their child’s health and development, or about early education and values, the key is to ensure that these are addressed.

Certainly our Anganwadi workers and assistant sisters are playing the role of a mother.

Your work may not be located in a large building, but the impact of your efforts is visible in every home and every family. Today, a large number of children have left malnutrition behind and moved toward a healthy life. If India has conquered malnutrition today, the contribution of Anganwadi workers and assistants is paramount.

Minister Nandi said that under the inspiration of the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Chief Minister, our government has organized today’s felicitation ceremony to highlight your contributions. You have demonstrated real change on the ground, not just on paper.

Minister Nandi presented appointment letters to newly selected Anganwadi workers and assistants. While handing them over to each of the newly selected sisters, Minister Nandi said, “This appointment letter in your hands is not just an employment opportunity. It is also an important responsibility to serve mothers, children, and society.”

During this event, women who have achieved outstanding work in their respective fields were honored. This recognition will undoubtedly inspire others to do even better. The true meaning of women’s empowerment is to provide women with equal opportunities, as well as an environment for progress with respect, security, education, and self-reliance.

Our double-engine government is continuously moving forward in this direction. Our government is giving special priority to the education of daughters and their bright future.

The honoring of daughters who have achieved outstanding work under the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” campaign embodies this spirit. Today, our daughters are showcasing their talents in education, sports, science, administration, and every field. The need of the hour is to provide them with opportunities, the trust of their families, and the encouragement of society.

Our central and state governments have worked to create these opportunities through programs like Drone Didi, Lakhpati Didi, Self-Help Groups, Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme, and Mission Shakti. Half the population is becoming economically and socially empowered by taking advantage of these schemes.

On this occasion, we must all work together to ensure that no child in Uttar Pradesh is left behind due to lack of nutrition, that no daughter is deprived of education, and that every woman progresses according to her potential.
