Prayagraj: CISCE Handball National Tournament was held in Gorakhpur from 17 September to 20 September, where U.P. team has secured the first position (Gold Medal) defeating Andhra Pradesh by 8-3. There were 6 girls in U-19 Handball National team of St. Mary’s Convent Inter College. The names are: Andis Jaiswal, Arni Singh, Nyasa Kesarwani, Riya Singh, Vaishnavi Singh and Aditi Singh. In Quarter final U.P. defeated Punjab and in Semi-final they defeated Karnataka and made place for finals which was against Aandhra Pradesh.

Principal of the school Sr. Lissy and Vice Principal Sr. Namita congratulated the girls and wished them more victory in future.
