Prayagraj: It is a matter of great pride for Prayag Public School that the school’s talented Taekwondo player, Madhavendra Shukla, achieved a silver medal in the CBSE National Taekwondo Championship 2026 with a superb performance. He was honored for this remarkable achievement today at a felicitation ceremony held on the school campus.
This prestigious national-level Taekwondo competition was held in Panipat, Haryana, from September 19 to 24, 2026. Talented athletes from CBSE-affiliated schools across the country and abroad participated in the six-day competition.
Representing the school in the under-78 kg weight category, Madhavendra Shukla demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, confidence, discipline, and determination. With his outstanding performance, he reached the finals and won the silver medal, bringing honor to the school, district, and state. At a felicitation ceremony held at the school to commemorate this achievement, school administrator Sushil Kumar Tiwari, Principal Frederick Richard Hanway, and Vice Principal Kanchan Srivastava congratulated Madhavendra Shukla and wished him a bright future.
The school management also extended special congratulations to Taekwondo coach Kuldeep Tripathi, who played a key role in Madhavendra’s success. The school administration stated that his skillful training, constant guidance, and hard work have played a significant role in preparing the athlete to excel at the national level. Manager Sushil Kumar Tiwari said that the school is constantly striving to promote the academic development of students as well as their athletic talents. Principal Frederick Richard Hanway praised Madhavendra’s hard work and discipline, saying that his achievement is an inspiration to other students.
