Prayagraj: The Prayagraj branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, under the aegis of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and in collaboration with the Financial Markets and Investors Awareness Committee of ICI (FM&IAC), organised a special “Investor Awareness Programme” on 10 October 2026 at the ICI Bhawan, Civil Lines. The programme was based on the theme “Investing Made Simple with Understanding” under the International ‘World Investors Week 2026’.

The keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Sandeep Kripalani, Chief General Manager, SEBI. In his address, he provided detailed guidance on the rapid growth of the Indian securities market, investor protection, ‘Project Jagrook’, prevention of digital fraud, and SEBI’s ‘CVV’ (Check, Validate, Verify) rule.

On this occasion, CA Shubham Agarwal, Chairman of the Prayagraj Branch Managing Committee (2026-27), CA Abhinay Kohli, Vice Chairman, CA Shanky Kasera, Secretary, and Sushil Kumar Shukla, former Chairman, welcomed all the distinguished guests and members present. A large number of CA members, students, and general investors enthusiastically participated in the program and learned about important aspects of financial literacy.
