Prayagraj: On the 5th of the month of Muharram, the mehndi of Budha Tazia was lifted. According to its time, the mehndi is lifted. The mehndi is decorated beautifully like a big Tazia. The mehndi is lifted from the Khuldabad barrier. The slogan of Ya Ali Ya Hussain is raised. The devotees of Hussain set out carrying the mehndi on their strong shoulders. The barrier Khuldabad mehndi is patrolled. The slogans of Ya Ali Ya Hussain, Hussain Zindabad are raised. As soon as the mehndi is lifted, the devotees of Hussain cover the road like clouds. Heads were visible everywhere. Those giving shoulder to the mehndi were full of enthusiasm.

Women and children had already made their place on the roof, balconies and platforms. Everyone was restless to see the mehndi. Hazrat Hussain has made the garden of Islam fragrant with the blood of the martyrdom of his 72 companions. By lifting the Alam, Tazia mehndi, we offer Khizr-e-Hayat to our martyrs. Langar was being organised everywhere. It was very hot, special arrangements for cold water and sherbet were made throughout the route of Mehndi. The Mehndi of Budha Tazia covers the shortest distance but due to the huge crowd, it becomes dawn. Mehndi is placed at the Imam Bada of Budha Tazia.

President Mohammad Shamim, Israr Niazi, Shanu Hashmi Asif Ansari, Chand Miyan, Moin Habibi, Akram Shagun, Fayyaz Ahmed, Mehboob Dabur, Mohammad Aamir Nadeem Khan, thousands of devotees participated in the Mehndi, Aslam, Tahir, Mazhar of Civil Defence along with their entire team were serving the people, Khuldabad Police, Kareli Police were engaged in security arrangements the entire night.
