Prayagraj: The North Central Zone Cultural Centre, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organized a yoga session on the Centre’s campus to mark the 12th International Yoga Day. This year’s theme for International Yoga Day was “Yoga for a Healthy and Long Life,” and in line with this, the message of adopting a healthy, balanced, and active lifestyle through yoga was conveyed.
Under the guidance of yoga instructors, Mrs. Kalpana Sahay and Ms. Madhu Srivastava, the center’s officials and employees, along with many citizens of the city, enthusiastically practiced yoga. Participants practiced various yoga postures and pranayama, pledging to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives and to strengthen their physical, mental, and spiritual health. On this occasion, Centre Director Sudesh Sharma honoured the yoga instructor by presenting him a plant and a dhoti.
