Prayagraj: On the fourth day of Muharram in Prayagraj, the Mehndi of Sujat Khan’s Sarai was lifted. This Mehndi was lifted under the patronage of Mohammad Ejaz (Babloo Bhai). Two hundred people were honored with turbans. The historical Mehndi is lifted according to its time. The Mehndi is decorated like a big Tazia. The Mehndi is lifted with loud slogans of Ya Ali Ya Hussain, Hussain Zindabad Islam Zindabad. Patrolling Sujat Khan’s Sarai, Saudagar Masjid, Shahganj Sabzi Mandi, Latif Market, Gadhi Sarai, Nakhas, Kohna, Shahganj Police Station, Dufferin Hospital, Hussain’s devotees patrolled the area with Mehndi on their shoulders and kept shouting slogans of Ya Ali Ya Hussain throughout the route which were echoing on both the ground and sky. Crowds gathered the entire night and langar was being organised everywhere.

Devotees were offering flowers on the Mehndi, kissing children, and vows and prayers were being made. Passing through Sevai Mandi, Kotwali, Bajaja Patti Sabzi Mandi, it was placed at its old Imam Bada in the morning.

President Mohammad Ejaz (Babloo Bhai), Pandit Digambar Tripathi Ji Anees GMS, Babban Dubey (SP), Zia Ubed Khan Councilor, former councilor Zafar Khan, Ahmed, Akram Shagun Ghulam Nabi, Azim Wrestler, Ghulam Jilani, Azim, Mehboob Dabur, Mohammad Aamir social worker, Anas, Mohammad Arsalan, Asad, Sajju Jilani, Munna Ji, Firoz Biryani, Irfan Neta, Munna Ji, Guddu Dada, Saif Gauri Rakesh, etc. Thousands of devotees participated in the Mehndi. Police of Shahganj Kotwali police station performed their duty.
