Prayagraj: On the 69th death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, this day was celebrated as Harmony Day by the major educational institutions and every city unit of India. On this occasion, a seminar was organized at SBVM Inter College, Sirathu Nagar, Kaushambi and a seven-kilometer long social harmony march was taken out. On this occasion, ABVP’s national executive member Abhinav Mishra was present as a migrant worker and during the padyatra, emphasis was laid on the society to imbibe the teachings given by Baba Saheb while explaining the relevance of Baba Saheb’s thoughts in the present perspective. On this day, ABVP works for social awareness through various programs to bring back the relevance of Baba Saheb’s thoughts in the memory of the society. All the units of ABVP have given the message of social harmony to the Indian society by celebrating this national festival with grandeur.
ABVP’s national executive member and Kaushambi district convenor Shivbabu Chaudhary said that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad celebrates National Youth Day (January 12), National Student Day (July 29), and National Harmony Day (December 6) as its national festivals.
