Flagged off public awareness rally

DM gave President’s Medal to Rajeev Bhanot, Ravi Shankar Dwivedi, Arun Singh Zakar, Hamid Ansari for their commendable services

Prayagraj: On the 62nd anniversary of the Civil Defense Foundation Day. District Magistrate/Controller Shri Ravindra Kumar Mandad DCP Protocol Pankaj Kumar hoisted the flag in the presence of ADM City Madat Kumar City Magistrate Vinod Kumar Singh. Thereafter, the Oath of Civil Defense was administered by the District Magistrate. The District Magistrate read out the messages received from the Honorable President, Honorable Prime Minister, Honorable Home Minister, and Home Secretary, Director General Civil Defense, Government of India. Introduction of Civil Defense by Deputy Controller Neeraj Mishra presented the details of the local wardens’ tireless cooperation with the emergency services throughout the year. Chief Warden Anil Kumar, Deputy Chief Sadiq Hussain Siddiqui welcomed the guests by giving them flower bunch and memento.

Civil Defense Wardens were honored by the District Magistrate by giving them certificates for their selfless service throughout the year. The District Magistrate praised the commendable work done selflessly by the Civil Defense and said that unlike other districts, the Civil Defense here is working shoulder to shoulder with the administration. The District Magistrate flagged off the voter awareness and plastic polythene cleanliness awareness rally in which the police band, horse riders, civil defense wardens, NCC cadets and women fire fighters participated. On this occasion, senior ADC Rakesh Tiwari, Mahendra Saxena, Rajiv Bhanot, Ravi Shankar Dwivedi, LK Aherwar, Sudhir Saxena, Raunak Gupta, Rajiv Bhanot, Shri Krishna Tiwari, Raunak Gupta, Dnyaneshwar Sharma, Nagendra Asthana, Poonam Gupta, Ravi Gautam and wardens volunteers of all divisions were present. The program was conducted by Ranjana Tripathi.
