Wonderful confluence of brotherhood, service and human sensibilities

Prayagraj: Under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Crime Prevention Committee, Lucknow Branch Prayagraj, a special camp and felicitation program was organized in Central Jail Naini, Prayagraj on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, the sacred bond between brother and sister. The main objective of this program was to provide support to the families of prisoners lodged in the jail, to give the message of mutual brotherhood and to encourage human sensibilities in the society.

This program was led by the committee’s chairman Kamlesh Srivastava and secretary Santosh Kumar. The chief guests of the program were Vijay Vikrant Singh and deputy jailor K.B. Singh, who in their speech appreciated such social efforts and called it an inspiring step towards social reform. The committee members arranged for refreshments and breakfast for the relatives of the prisoners. The sisters honored the police and jail administration officers and employees by tying rakhi to them.

In the program, special discussion was held on crime control, social security and family values. On this occasion, Ajit Kumar Sinha, Amit Gupta, Arjun Singh, Ashok Singh, Balwant Vishwakarma, Kayamuddin, Dr. Rohit Gupta, Jitendra Srivastava, Rakesh Nishad, Raj Singh, Rajesh Nishad, Rupesh Jain, Laxmikant Mishra (Legal Advisor), Rambabu Singh, Waqar Ahmed Ansari, Vishal Srivastava, Sandeep Soni, Sanjay Upadhyay, Sanjay Shukla, Sudhir Kumar Prajapati, Shoaib Alam, Shravan Gaur were present. The senior jail superintendent praised this effort of the committee and said that such programs not only provide relief to the prisoners and their families, but also strengthen the spirit of mutual trust and cooperation in the society.
