Prayagraj: Chhath festival was organized with great pomp on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmotsav grand festival organized at Satishah square by Shri Shri Krishna Janmashtami Committee Kidganj Prayag. On this occasion, committee coordinator Ayush Agrahari performed the worship as per the rituals and offered Mahaprasad of 56 types of dishes to Lord Shri Krishna which included Kadhi, rice, Malpua, Kheer, Panch Meva, fruits, Pakora, sweets, Rajbhog vegetable, Kachori, Puri, Halwa, Kheer, Butter, Sethora, Khaja, Raita etc. Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said that an attractive tableau of Lord Shri Krishna was decorated and Chhathi Bhog Prasad was distributed to the devotees on this occasion.

Maha Aarti of Lord Shri Krishna was performed and MP Phulpur Praveen Patel, former minister MLA City West Siddharth Nath Singh, MLA Harshvardhan Bajpai, MLA Phulpur Deepak Patel, BJP District President Sanjay Gupta, BJP Spokesperson Rajesh Kesarwani, District President Ganga Par Nirmala Paswan, District President Yamuna Par Rajesh Shukla, State Minister Women’s Front Kavita Yadav Tripathi, respected councilors performed the Aarti.
