Shankaracharya extending blessings to one all
Prayagraj: On the occasion of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti, a grand pujan, 18-kundiya mahayagna and Mangal Aarti were organised by Shri Agrasen Agrawal Samaj, Prayagraj, on Monday, at Agrawal Inter College and Shri Agrasen Square located on Zero Road. The event was held in a joyous and spiritual atmosphere. In this special event which started at 4 pm, 19 couples of the Samaj sat in different kunds and performed havan as per the rituals amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. The entire atmosphere was filled with spiritual energy and devotion due to the sacred fire of havan and the sound of mantras. The program was started with the Swasti Vachan by the students, which made the entire atmosphere more dignified.
On this occasion, revered Shankaracharya Shrimad Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj arrived. Blessing the community, he said, “The collective yajna is not only a symbol of religious faith but also a powerful medium for social unity, harmony, and positive energy. The ideals of Maharaja Agrasen will always provide guidance and inspiration to society.” Justice R.K. Agrawal was the chief guest, and special guests included Sanjeev Agrawal, Dr. D.K. Agrawal, and Dr. Nikunj Agrawal. They all described Maharaja Agrasen’s philosophy of life as a unique example of social upliftment and harmony.
Nineteen prominent members of the community participated in the Mahayagna with their wives. Prominent among them were Piyush Ranjan Agarwal, Abhishek Mittal, Manish Goyal, Ajit Bansal, Ankur Agarwal, Anupam Agarwal, Alok Agarwal, Anshu Agarwal, Animesh Agarwal, Rajesh Agarwal, Rakesh Agarwal, Saurabh Agarwal, Vimal Poddar, Ratan Agarwal, Sachin Agarwal, Shobhit Agarwal, Pranav Agarwal, Ajay Agarwal, and Saurabh Agarwal. In his address, the community’s president, Mr. Piyush Ranjan Agarwal, said, “This event is a continuous effort to keep the community’s traditions and culture alive.” General Secretary Mr. Abhishek Mittal described it as a symbol of social harmony and cultural pride. Jayanti coordinator Dr. B.B. Agarwal expressed his gratitude to all the collaborators and the crowd present, calling the event unforgettable.
Following the grand yagya, Mr. Vijay Agarwal arranged for a large feast, while Mr. Ramakrishna Agarwal handled the refreshments. The active participation of the Agarwal Mahila Mandal and Yuva Mandal was particularly commendable in the success of the event.
The program was successfully conducted by coordinators Harish Chandra Agarwal, Prameya Mittal, Ankur Agarwal, Vishal Agarwal, and co-coordinators Murari Prasad Agarwal, Rakesh Agarwal, and Sandeep Agarwal. The presence and guidance of senior members of the community made the entire program even more effective and inspiring.

The enthusiasm of the devotees remained at its peak during the entire event. The Agrawal descendants present described it as a unique effort to spread the teachings and ideals of Agrasen Maharaj Ji to the masses.
