Only a cultured and virtuous education system will make the country a world leader: Rajkumar Chopra, National President, Lok Sevak Mandal
Prayagraj: A grand event was organized at Bal Vidya Niketan, Lajpat Bhawan, Kalyani Devi, Prayagraj, run by the Bharatiya Patita Uddhar Sabha, New Delhi. Mr. Rajkumar Chopra, National President of the Lok Sevak Mandal, New Delhi, was the chief guest.
On this occasion, free warm clothes, school bags, shoes, socks, notebooks, books, pencils, and other essential stationery items were distributed to the school children. The children’s faces lit up with joy upon receiving the items.
The school’s annual festival was also celebrated with great enthusiasm during the program, in which the children captivated the guests with their cultural presentations. Chief guest Mr. Rajkumar Chopra, while wishing the children a bright future, described education as the foundation of society’s development and said that only a cultured education system will make the country a world leader. At the end of the program, the organizers expressed their gratitude to the guests.
Senior councilor Shivsevak Singh, while presiding over the program, said that 50 children in Bal Vidya Niketan and more than two hundred children in Shishu Bihar are not getting the benefit of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan from the government. The program was conducted by teacher Pooja Agarwal. Special guest, Lok Sevak Mandal’s secretary Brahmaprakash Tiwari said that the work done by president Khairati Lal Bhola for Patita Udhdhar Sabha is exemplary for the society.
Bal Vidya Niketan supervisor Sangeeta Bhatt expressed her gratitude. Mrs. Kanta Chopra, senior social worker and teacher Shrinarayan Yadav, employee leader Ravi Shankar Mishra, Pooja Agarwal, Tripti Sehgal, Deepa Tandon, Arvind Chopra, Chhaya Chopra along with hundreds of prominent citizens and parents were present in the program.
