Prayagraj: The farewell ceremony for Pandit Pradeep Kumar Gaur, former president of the Water Institute Employees Union and the Water Supply Department of the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation, was held in a solemn atmosphere at Jaan Do Gaughat on December 31, 2025, at 12 noon. A large number of employees, officials, and distinguished guests were present at the ceremony.

The chief guest of the program was City North MLA Harshvardhan Bajpai. Praising the tenure of Pt. Pradeep Kumar Gaur, he said that he gave a new direction to departmental discipline and service spirit along with protecting the interests of the employees. The MLA wished him a bright future. On this occasion, gold medal winner Khushboo Nishad and former councilor Nand Lal Nishad were also present. Other officials and employees including Senior Vice President of Jal Sansthan Employees Union Shrichand were present. Everyone honored Pt. Gaur by presenting him a bouquet and a memento and remembered his contribution.
