Prayagraj: MNREGA Bachao Sangram Chaupal was organized by Congress in ShringwerpurDham. Addressing the Chaupal chief guest Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed said that 100 days of work in MNREGA was a legal entitlement, the Center provided 90 percent of the funds and the Panchayats had the right to decide the work. In which the work will be decided by the Centre, the role of Panchayats will be reduced and removing the name of Mahatma Gandhi is insulting. He said that the government has bulldozed the MNREGA scheme, which has become the lifeline of crores of people of India in 2.5 lakh gram panchayats of the country. The struggle will continue until the BJP government re-implements MNREGA. The program was mainly addressed by PCC member former secretary Uttar Pradesh Congress Ashish Pandey, Sunil Pandey. The program was conducted by District General Secretary Vinod Tiwari.
