Prayagraj: Makar Sankranti celebrations were organised by Jai Shiv Sena Uttar Pradesh in Harshvardhan Nagar Meerapur. On this occasion, a meeting of the state executive was held in which Jai Shiv Sena Uttar Pradesh’s patron Dinesh Singh and provincial president Abhishek Thakur congratulated everyone on Makar Sankranti and said that the festival of Makar Sankranti is a confluence of cultural unity and a symbol of social support. It is celebrated with different names in different states of India. But the feeling is of our unity. On February 15, on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival, Jai Shiv Sena Uttar Pradesh will organise a procession with weapons and scriptures to visit the religious leader Trishul Bhagwan. Organiser provincial general secretary Rajesh Kesarwani said that dal baati, gajak, khichdi, rewadi, tilkut feast etc. were organised on the Makar Sankranti celebrations.
