Prayagraj: Ahead of the sacred festival of Holi, Prayagraj witnessed a unique example of humanity, service, and social harmony this year. Under the joint aegis of Hare Ram Seva Sansthan and CMP College, the festival of colors was celebrated with hundreds of slum children, proving that the festival is not just a celebration of colors, but of relationships and emotions. The event was held in a grand and well-organized manner under the leadership of Anant Singh, President of the Institute and Assistant Professor at CMP Degree College, Allahabad University.

Under the program, sarees, gulal, sanitary pads were distributed to elderly women, clothes and medicines to the disabled, while food items, essential goods, stationery, clothes and many other daily use items were distributed to the children. Volunteers played with colors, organized songs, music and cultural activities with the children and encouraged them through cordial conversations. Smiles and joy were clearly visible on the faces of children whose lives are often dominated by deprivation and struggle.

Hundreds of volunteers actively participated in the event. From planning the event to managing resources, arranging distribution, and conducting cultural activities—the organized team of young people performed exemplary work at every level.

The organization’s mission is not just to provide immediate relief, but to bring long-term positive change to the lives of underprivileged sections of society. Through education, health, and humanitarian assistance, the organization has reached hundreds of families and fostered a spirit of service among youth. In his address, the organization’s president, Anant Singh, said, “Social service is not just an activity, but a life-giving vision. If our festivals can light a lamp of hope in the life of someone in need, that is our greatest achievement.”

This grand event proved that when youth unite and pledge to serve, positive change in society is certainly possible. This initiative of Hare Ram Seva Sansthan has emerged as a strong example of social harmony and humanity in Prayagraj.
