Prayagraj: Holi Milan and All India Kavi Sammelan, organized by Kavya Chakallas Organizing Committee under Kavya Chakra 2026, was held this year as well with joy and enthusiasm with renowned writers of the country near Kidganj police station like previous years. In which the writers enthralled the audience by reciting one better than the other compositions. Former Mayor of Kavi Sammelan Ganesh Kesarwani garlanded the picture of Maa Hansvahini. On the said occasion Prayagraj’s Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani honored all the visiting writers by presenting them shawls, mementos, bouquets etc.
Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, while welcoming the guests, said in his address that we must continue to preserve and enhance our cultural heritage. He thanked the Kavya Chakallas Organizing Committee for enriching the literary tradition. Ganesh Kesarwani said that while the poetry of the creators awakens us all, it also gives a new direction to the country and society. After that, poet Shashi Shreya, who had come from Lucknow, inaugurated the Kavi Sammelan by reciting Vani Vandana. Hatred has raised boundaries here. Love is what makes a man a man.
