Prayagraj; The City Congress Committee members observed the 35th death anniversary of former prime minister Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Anti Terrorism Day.They reached Anand Bhavan the ense tral home GANDHIS in the morning led by AICC Secretary-incharge and former minister Rajesh Tiwari, and garlanded the portrait of the great statesman and recalled his contribution in nation building.

A revolutionary of information technology , he brought several reforms including Anti defection law, Vote rights to 18 yrs.old youths, Panchayati Raj to strengthen villages, 33% reservation in all sections to empowered women, formed the Jawahar Navodaya vidyalaya system,the Government based education. Tiwari said Rajiv ji increased the Govt.support for science technology and associated industries and liberalised the Country’s economy. The Sabha was presided over by City President Fuzail Hashmii.
