Prayagraj: On Saturday, BJP legal cell officials submitted a memorandum to Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya demanding free access to the newly constructed lawyer chambers in the High Court. The memorandum was submitted under the leadership of Advocate Ashutosh Pandey, regional co-convener of the BJP Kashi region legal cell. It demanded that each newly constructed chamber be provided with a table, chair, cupboard, and other necessary furniture to enable lawyers to effectively and systematically discharge their judicial duties. A computer and printer should be installed in each chamber to facilitate the drafting, printing, and other necessary judicial work related to litigation. The Uttar Pradesh government should bear the expenses incurred in the maintenance, repair, and other upkeep of the newly constructed building and lawyer chambers, ensuring no additional financial burden on lawyers and ensuring their long-term preservation. Advocate Ashutosh Pandey and Additional Government Advocate Devendra Nath Mishra stated that the Uttar Pradesh government constructed the newly constructed chamber building and parking lot in the High Court complex for the convenience of lawyers. This initiative is highly commendable and welcome for the advocate community. The newly constructed chambers lack the basic facilities required for smooth functioning of the daily judicial work of the advocates, due to which it is not possible to make proper use of the chambers. On this occasion, advocates like State Co-ordinator of Legal Cell Ranjeet Singh, Arvind Singh, Regional Co-ordinator Ashutosh Pandey, Devendra Nath Mishra, Purushottam Maurya, Gyan Narayan Kannaujiya, Yogesh Mishra, Anil Mishra, Thakur Prasad Dubey, Ramesh Kumar Pasi, Vipin Pandey etc. were present.
