Prayagraj: Keeping in mind the expected crowd of candidates during the Constable Recruitment Examination-2026, scheduled to be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026, the Prayagraj Division has made extensive and special arrangements. Officers have been deployed in the war room at the divisional office for this purpose. Exam special trains will also be operated, if necessary, to provide safe, smooth, and convenient travel for candidates and other passengers.
For the convenience of examinees, Prayagraj Division has made additional rakes available at Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, Aligarh Junction, Etawah, and Mirzapur stations, so that if necessary, special trains can be operated immediately. Additionally, special action plans have been implemented at major stations during the examination period for crowd management, ticketing, security, and passenger amenities.
The divisional administration has deployed adequate staff at major stations, including Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, Aligarh Junction, Tundla, and Mirzapur. For smooth travel and assistance to candidates, activities on station premises will be continuously monitored through CCTV cameras.
Adequate staffing at ticket counters, proper arrangements at enquiry counters, active public announcement systems, and additional deployment of RPF and GRP personnel have been ensured at stations. Special instructions have also been issued to railway employees to provide proper guidance and necessary information to candidates on platforms.
In addition, in order to further facilitate the travel of the candidates, if required, extensions of some regular trains, additional stoppages en route and changes in their operating timings may be made, so that maximum number of candidates can get convenience in reaching the examination centres and in their return journey. Railway Administration will ensure proper arrangements in the interest of passengers by taking necessary operational decisions as per the circumstances and passenger demand.
