Under Environment Awareness Week, discussions organized for students and special programs organized for staff
Phulpur: Under the ongoing Environment Awareness Week at IFFCO Phulpur unit, awareness programs were organized for students and contractual workers on Monday. The objective of the programs was to increase awareness about environmental protection and to ensure everyone’s participation in creating a green and clean environment.
In this sequence, a discussion program was organized for the students of classes 6 to 8 and classes 9 to 10 on Monday morning from 9:30 am. In the program, students were given information about the importance of environmental protection, water and energy saving, plantation and cleanliness. Students also shared their views on topics related to environment.
After this, a special awareness program was organized for contract workers at 2:30 pm. The program discussed in detail practical measures for environmental protection, individual responsibilities in maintaining cleanliness at the workplace and creating a green environment.
On this occasion, chief guest IFFCO Phulpur Unit Head PK Singh said that through Environment Awareness Week, the message of nature conservation is being given by making various sections sensitive towards the environment. A call was also given in the program to make environmental protection a mass movement. IFFCO Officers Union President Anurag Tiwari, General Secretary Swayam Prakash, IFFCO Employees Sangh President Pankaj Pandey, General Secretary Vijay Kumar Yadav, General Manager Technical Ratnesh Kumar, Senior Manager Environment Umesh Kumar, Ashish Kumar and a large number of officers, employees and contract workers were present in the program.
