Prayagraj: Prayagraj Division made special arrangements for the convenience of candidates appearing for the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) Constable Recruitment Examination-2026. In view of the large number of candidates traveling, the Prayagraj Division administration operated special exam trains as needed to ensure that candidates did not face any inconvenience in their travel. Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager/Prayagraj, Mr. Rajneesh Agarwal, the entire system was managed in a systematic manner. Special arrangements were made at platforms, ticket counters, and entry/exit gates at Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, and other major stations for the convenience of candidates. In addition, CCTV cameras installed at major stations were continuously monitored from a divisional war room. Officials continuously monitored crowd conditions, passenger movement, and platform arrangements, ensuring immediate action could be taken in case of any inconvenience.

From Kanpur: 1. The Kanpur Central – Lucknow Exam Special train departed Kanpur Central at 18:15 hrs. Approximately 3,000 passengers were on board. 2. The Kanpur Central – Jhansi Exam Special train departed Kanpur Central at 18:35 hrs. Approximately 4,000 passengers were on board.
From Etawah: 3. The Etawah Junction – Jhansi Exam Special train departed for Etawah Junction at 17:30 hrs. There were approximately 1500 passengers on board.
4. Train No. 19812 Etawah-Kota Express has been rescheduled from 17:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs.
To ensure the safety and security of candidates, Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel were deployed at major stations and trains. Additionally, Commercial Department officials and staff also visited station premises to guide passengers and provide necessary information. Ticket checking staff and help desk personnel provided candidates with platform information, train timings, and other essential information.
The railway administration has made all necessary arrangements for the convenience, safety, and smooth operation of the candidates. The concerned departments have been alerted to ensure crowd control, guidance, cleanliness, and necessary assistance within the station premises. Railway personnel have been given special instructions to ensure that candidates do not face any inconvenience.
To maintain smooth crowd management, additional staff was deployed at major stations, and passengers were encouraged to enter and exit in an orderly manner. Necessary information was also continuously provided to passengers through the public announcement system, preventing unnecessary crowding on platforms and ensuring smooth traffic flow. Railways continuously strive to provide better travel facilities to candidates on important occasions like examinations. This special exam train is a positive step in this direction, enabling candidates to appear for their exams without stress and reach their examination center/destination on time.
