The objective of this campaign is to promote safe behavior on railway premises and around railway tracks and to prevent rail accidents and unsafe practices.
In this sequence, today, June 8, 2026, the Railway Protection Force Post, Kanpur Central, launched a massive public awareness campaign at various sensitive locations in the post area. As part of the campaign, public awareness was generated through mobile video vans at Sarsaul Railway Station, Ruma Railway Station, Chakri Railway Station, Chandari Railway Station, Kanpur Railway Station, Gate No. 75, Gate No. 2, Gate No. 3, Parcel Area, and Circulating Area.
Mobile video vans were used to gather people and display video messages, short films, and awareness materials related to railway safety and vigilance. E-pamphlets provided by the Railway Protection Force and Railway Administration were also distributed, and important rail safety messages were broadcast via loudspeaker.
During the campaign, the public was made aware of the dangers of walking on railway tracks, crossing railway lines, crossing closed railway gates, throwing stones at moving trains, damaging railway property, and other unsafe activities. People were also told that by following railway safety rules, they can ensure their own safety and that of other passengers.
The Prayagraj Divisional Administration believes that rail safety can be further strengthened through public participation and continuous awareness. The Divisional Administration appeals to the public to adhere to rail safety rules and contribute to the safety of the railways as safe and responsible citizens.
