Prayagraj: Addressing the national symposium organized jointly by the Hindu Spiritual and Service Institute, the Institute for Ethical and Cultural Training, and the Central Sanskrit University, Prayagraj, Chief Guest Srinivas Varkhedi, Vice Chancellor of the Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, said that the Hindu Spiritual Institute embodies Hindutva. No one is degraded in Hindu society; we witnessed the philosophy of unity in diversity at the Kumbh Mela. Just as Goddess Saraswati is not visible at the Sangam, the philosophy of education has also disappeared. He called for the Hindu Pancha Paddhati to be meaningful, stating that we have somehow drifted away from Hindu philosophy. To address this, Hindus must work in alignment with their religious philosophy and promote Sanatan Dharma. When Swami Vivekananda was asked why he wasn’t marrying, he said he saw Goddess Durga in girls. He stated that there are three principles: debt, truth, religion, and culture. He emphasized the importance of embracing these principles in one’s behavior and character. The hallmarks of being a Hindu are sacrifice, charity, austerity, and action. The creation of Hindutva is impossible without philosophy.

In his presidential address, former Vice Chancellor Prof. Girish Chand Tripathi said that Hindu families believe that not only India but the entire world is our family. Quarrels between brothers over trivial matters have become a part of our Hindu society, and this is not good for Hinduism. There was a time when a brother would even sacrifice his life to protect the honor, dignity, and identity of his sister. There can be no equality between men and women. It is an eternal truth that women are superior. The mother’s name is always invoked first; it is said that no one can ever be free from the debt of a mother. When Sanatan Dharma is in crisis, Goddess Durga appears. It is women who help men overcome dilemmas. History shows that worshipping women and daughters is the embodiment of truth. We must build a society based on Buddha. Hinduism will remain troubled until our vision and thinking change. The enlightened class must come forward and care for future generations and society. Only then will a strong and prosperous India be built.

In his keynote address, Somkant Sharma said that renowned thinker, economist, and accountant Swaminathan Gurumurthy launched the Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair in 2009 to bring global recognition to Hindu service activities. Today, 36 spiritual and service fairs have been organized in 15 states, bringing more than 15 million people to see, understand, and hear. In the future, people from all over the world will stand united in championing India’s philosophy.

Chief speaker Gunwant Singh Kothari said that the culture of India will be strengthened only by the development of the philosophy, vision and thoughts of Hindutva like forest and wildlife conservation, environmental protection, family development, respect for women and awakening the feeling of patriotism. All these values were given by the ancient sages of India in the Hindu life vision “Ekam Sat Vipra: Bahudha Vyakti se Uddhav.
