Prayagraj: Rajnikant Srivastava, provincial coordinator of the Bharatiya Janata Party NGO Cell, Kashi Province, stated that on the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 21st, grand and extensive programs should be organized in all districts of Kashi Province, as directed by the leadership. These programs will serve as the final part of the closing ceremony of the public welfare and public awareness campaign.

He urged all district coordinators and co-coordinators of Kashi Province to establish contact with social organizations, voluntary organizations, service workers, and conscious citizens in their respective areas to ensure maximum participation in Yoga Day events. They also urged them to compile a list of organizations working for the welfare of society and make it available at the provincial level.

Rajnikant Srivastava said that yoga is not just exercise, but the foundation of a healthy, balanced, and positive life. In today’s fast-paced lifestyle, yoga is the most effective means of strengthening physical, mental, and spiritual health. Therefore, every social organization, committee, and voluntary organization should organize Yoga Day on their own level.

He said that information should be made available soon about which social organizations are organizing yoga programs in which districts and locations in Kashi Province. Institutions and committees organizing Yoga Day events should send their organization’s name, contact number, a brief description of the program, and photographs to the provincial helpline number 9415970989.

He said that organizations and activists who contributed to the successful organization of Yoga Day will be honored at the upcoming awards ceremony. This award will be dedicated to all those organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions toward a healthy and aware society.

Finally, Rajnikant Srivastava appealed to all social organizations, youth, women, and citizens to participate enthusiastically in the yoga programs organized on June 21st and play an active role in realizing the pledge of a “Healthy India, Strong India.” Workers should also seek the help of voluntary organizations in spreading the achievements of the central and state governments to the public.
