Prayagraj: As part of the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Memorial Fortnight, a youth conference was organized on Thursday under the aegis of the BJP Prayagraj Metropolitan at Hanuman Vatika in the city’s West Assembly. Speaking as the chief guest, BJP State Vice President Dr. Kirtika Agarwal said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, in his time, gave the youth a message: “Dedicate your life to society and the nation.” His life remains relevant to the youth even today. The chief guest stated that the reins of India’s reconstruction lie in the hands of the country’s youth. Swami Vivekananda said, “Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is reached.” Today, our youth are following that path. India has the youngest population in the world. You are the generation that will not hide behind problems, but will boldly address them.
The government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is transforming the youth into “job-givers, not job-seekers.” Today, India’s reputation has risen globally, and the entire world is acknowledging the skills of our youth. This is not the time to think only for ourselves, but to rebuild the country. When we talk about the resolve for a developed India, its foundation lies in the youth. We must rise above caste, religion, and regionalism to build a “Best India.” Let us all resolve to become the main drivers of this development that will propel the nation forward. Delivering his presidential address, Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta stated that youth have played an incomparable role since the country’s independence movement. Today, the country’s youth are breaking new ground in every field. Our youth are bringing glory to India globally. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee awakened the spirit of nationalism within the youth. He appealed to the youth to always be ready to work for the nation’s development, unity, and integrity. Youth are the soldiers of this country, empowered to spread the spirit of nationalism to the masses. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided numerous opportunities for youth to showcase their talents.
Today, through start-ups, many youth across the country and state are demonstrating their success. Through this conference, let us all resolve to fully promote the BJP’s ideology to the masses in the upcoming 2027 elections. Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee sacrificed his life for the nation. He gave direction to the youth through his struggle. India’s youth has never stopped or bowed down whenever the country’s honor and prestige is at stake. City West MLA Siddharth Nath Singh said that youth is also one who thinks innovatively about the country’s development. Be young not only in body but also in mind. In the form of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and PM Modi, we have leadership that offers opportunities for innovation.
Youth should think not just about jobs but about creating jobs, and today the double-engine government is providing these opportunities to youth. Several schemes, including the Prime Minister’s Employment Scheme, the Mudra Scheme, and the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Scheme, are empowering youth to become self-reliant. 14,000 startups have been launched in Uttar Pradesh.
