Prayagraj: Gymnastics, swimming, archery and table tennis competitions were organised at the District Sports Training Centre, Alanganj Prayagraj, as per the orders of Assistant Education Director (Basic) Sanjay Kumar Kushwaha, as per the instructions of District Basic Education Officer Anil Kumar and under the guidance of District Nodal Physical Education Teacher Brijesh Yadav. It was inaugurated by Block Education Officer (Urdu), Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj, Harischandra Giri. Special guests Virendra Kumar Kanaujia, Block Education Officer (Headquarters), Prayagraj and Arvind Sahu were present. A total of 86 children participated in the competition.
In which Shankargarh Prayagraj was the winner in the boys category of gymnastics and Shankargarh Prayagraj was the winner in the girls category. On 28th July 2026, the shooting, handball and karate competitions of the Divisional Children’s Sports Competition 2026-27 will be held at the District Sports Stadium, Tewa, Kaushambi.
