Prayagraj: The North Central Zone Cultural Centre, Prayagraj, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is organizing the “Bal Rang Utsav” from August 11th to 13th, 2026, under the “Theatre in Education” initiative. During this three-day event, students from various schools will present curriculum-based plays. The program will be held daily at 10:30 a.m. at the Cultural Centre Auditorium in Prayagraj. Center Director Sudesh Sharma stated that the objective of “Theatre in Education” is to develop students’ creativity, expression, communication skills, self-confidence, and a sense of community participation. This initiative aims to make school curriculum topics and stories more interesting and effective for students through theatrical presentations. On August 11th, students will present the plays “Yugdhara” and “Jamun Ka Ped.” On August 12th, “Ahilyabai” and “Maharani Lakshmibai” will be staged. On August 13th, the plays “Naya Makaan” and “Main Bojh Nahi Bhavishya Hoon” will be staged.
