Prayagraj: The office and library of the High Court Bar Association, Allahabad, was inaugurated on Wednesday on the 12th floor of the newly constructed Advocates Building by Chief Justice Arun Bhasali and members of the Building Committee. The Chairman Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi and members Justice Saumitra Dayal Singh, Justice Salil Kumar Rai, Justice Ajay Bhanot, Justice Vikas Wednesday did it.
The program began with a prayer to Saraswati. Chief Guest Chief Justice Arun Bhasali stated that discussions are underway with the government regarding funding arrangements to minimize the burden on junior lawyers, and that these chambers will be available for use within a few days. Building Committee Chairman Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi stated that the chamber allocation process has begun. Approximately 11,000 respected lawyers have registered themselves, and chambers will soon be allocated to eligible lawyers in a transparent manner. He added that the Chief Justice is in discussions with the state government to ensure funding and reduce the expenditure burden on junior lawyers. Rakesh Pandey stated that construction work is currently underway for an office, library, a room with 50 computers, and a video conferencing hall. This will greatly facilitate new lawyers preparing for the HJS. The program was presided over by Bar President Rakesh Pandey and conducted by General Secretary Akhilesh Kumar Sharma.
