Slogan “Do or Die” still fresh in people’s minds: Keshav
Atmosphere resonated with chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vande Mataram
Prayagraj: Under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, a grand Tiranga Yatra was taken out from Patthar Church to Shaheed Wall on Thursday. The huge crowd that gathered in the Yatra painted the picture of patriotism. With the tricolour in their hands and the pictures of the brave sons of Mother India who sacrificed their lives for freedom and for the honour of the tricolour, the people participating in the Yatra were seen dancing to patriotic songs on the DJ and to the beats of drums.
The sky waves resonated with the sky-piercing slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai, Vande Mataram. Ex-servicemen, voluntary organisations, various social organisations, school and college students, women, elderly, children and youth participated in the Yatra. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta, Gangapar President Nirmala Paswan, Yamunapar President Rajesh Shukla, MLAs Siddharth Nath Singh, Deepak Patel, Harshvardhan Bajpai, Guru Prasad Maurya, Surendra Chaudhary, Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, State Vice President Chail MLA Pooja Pal, State Vice President Dr. Kritika Agarwal, and Suresh Maurya, attended the Tiranga Yatra as chief guests. They carried the tricolor in their hands on a chariot for approximately 2 kilometers from Patthar Church to the Martyrs’ Wall.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that such events play an important role in keeping the memories of the country’s freedom struggle alive and connecting the younger generation with the struggle for independence. Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that this occasion serves as a reminder of India’s glorious past and the sacrifices made for the country during the freedom struggle. He emphasized that today’s young generation should remember how India achieved independence after a long struggle. He said that this day reminds us of our glorious past and keeps the memories of the freedom struggle alive in the hearts of the younger generation.
This is an occasion to remember the country’s glorious history and the sacrifices made by the brave sons of Mother India for independence. In his message to the youth, the Deputy Chief Minister said that today’s young generation must know and remember how hard India fought for its independence.
