Prayagraj: A Teachers’ Day felicitation ceremony was organized at Ford School and College, Kazipur, Prayagraj. The chief guest, Prof. Jonathan A. Lal, Vice-Chancellor of SHUATS, honored and awarded all the teachers of the school and extended his heartfelt Teachers’ Day greetings to them. In his address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jonathan A. Lal stated that teachers play a pivotal role in the development and building of society. He urged the teachers to work with full cooperation and dedication to steer Ford School and College continuously along the path of development. He mentioned that the Society’s management is making constant efforts for the school’s development and assured that a lack of financial resources would not be allowed to hinder the growth of Ford School.
Sharing the Society’s vision for the school’s expansion, the School Manager and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (PMD) of SHUATS, Prof. Ritu Prakash Dubey, remarked that a teacher does not have a fixed timetable. She emphasized that teachers must work with a sense of mission for the welfare, character building, and holistic development of students.
On this occasion, the Principal of Ford School and College, Mrs. Rajni Singh; the Registrar of SHUATS and Joint Secretary of the Management Society, Prof. C. John Wesley; and the Director of Administration, Dr. Ramakant Dubey, also extended his best wishes and greetings to all the teachers.
During the event, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Bishwarup Mehera, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Ranu Prasad, Director (REC) Dr. Praveen Charan, Chaplain Lalchung Gangate, and Finance Controller Mr. Aaron Alexander was also honored with floral bouquets.
The event featured captivating cultural performances—including dances, songs, and a play—presented by the school’s female students. The school’s Head Girl, Michelle Robert, shed light on the life and contributions to the field of education of the great educationist and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The school’s Vice-Principal Himanshu and Charles Robert, along with the entire teaching and non-teaching staff, were present on this occasion. Principal Rajni Singh expressed her gratitude to the teachers for their contribution to nation-building and acknowledged the respect due to them.
