Prayagraj: A massive demonstration and siege was held in Lucknow today to protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar acting as a puppet of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah by arbitrarily deleting the names of crores of voters through SIR, and illegally forming governments at the Centre and in various states by stealing votes. During the siege, Congress members, led by City Congress Committee President Fuzail Hashmi, met Congress National Incharge Rajendra Pal Gautam.

Kishore Varshney, Harikesh Tripathi, Arshad Ali, Shashi Prakash Ashfaq Ahmed, spokesperson Shahnawaz Qureshi, Mohd. Shariq Tabrez Ahmed etc. were included.
