Prayagraj: On Tuesday, the BJP organization announced Ashok Kumar Rathore as the candidate for the Allahabad Jhansi Graduate Constituency. Welcoming and expressing joy at the organization’s decision, party officials and workers vowed to enter the election with a resolve to win. BJP Kashi Region Vice President and Allahabad Jhansi Graduate Constituency Co-ordinator Awadhesh Chandra Gupta said the organization welcomed the decision and said the organization would contest this election with full strength and victory. Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta stated that they would contest the election with full preparation. BJP candidate Ashok Kumar Rathore is originally from Jalaun and officially joined the BJP during the 2023 Teachers’ Constituency elections. The Allahabad Jhansi Graduate Constituency includes Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jalaun, Jhansi, and Lalitpur. The nomination process began on Tuesday. Nominations can be filed until October 6th. Voting is scheduled for October 23rd and counting on the 27th. District General Secretary Dr Shailesh Pandey, Vikramjeet Singh Bhadoria, Ramesh Pasi, Anand Sonkar, Anuj Kushwaha, Anil Kesarwani, Anand Srivastava, Vijay Srivastava, Ajay Singh, Pawan Srivastava, Vivek Mishra etc. expressed happiness over the decision.
