Prayagraj: The installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Prayagraj Sangam City and Interact Club of Prayagraj Sangam was held at Hotel Ravisha Continental in Civil Lines in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, excitement and a commitment to service. In the ceremony, the newly appointed office bearers of both clubs were given responsibilities for the new Rotary session 2026-27. The objective of the program was to encourage leadership abilities, social responsibility, service spirit and organizational skills among the youth.
At the ceremony, Rotaractor Anand Singh assumed the new responsibility as President of the Rotaract Club of Prayagraj Sangam City and Rotaractor Yash Agarwal as Secretary. Meanwhile, Interactor Shivam Agarwal assumed the charge as President of the Interact Club of Prayagraj Sangam and Interactor Yashasvi Jain assumed the charge as Secretary. The newly appointed office-bearers pledged to further the objectives of their respective clubs, play an active role in social service activities, and engage youth in positive activities.
The chief guest inspired the youth to serve and lead.
District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Rotarian Dr. Garima Singh was the chief guest at the event. In her address, she described the energy, creativity, and leadership skills of youth as crucial to society’s development. She said that Rotaract and Interact clubs provide youth with opportunities for service, as well as a powerful platform for developing self-confidence, discipline, team spirit, and a sense of responsibility.
He congratulated the newly appointed officials, encouraging them not to limit themselves to the responsibilities of their position, but to strive to bring positive change to society through their actions. He emphasized the need to implement effective service projects in areas such as education, health, environmental protection, and assistance to the needy, and to involve more youth in these activities.
The distinguished guest emphasized on continuous service and exemplary leadership.District Rotaract Chair Rotarian Sachin Upadhyay was the guest of honor at the ceremony. In his address, he said that Rotaract and Interact clubs provide young people with practical leadership experience and an opportunity to understand their responsibilities to society.
He urged the newly appointed teams to work with mutual coordination, discipline, and dedication. He emphasized that the success of any club should not be measured solely by the number of programs, but by the positive impact those programs create on society. He encouraged young people to come up with new ideas, learn from the experiences of senior Rotarians, and maintain continuity in service activities.
The gracious presence of the Rotary and Rotaract family: The presence of former presidents and distinguished members of the Rotary Club of Prayagraj Sangam, the parent club of both clubs, added special grace to the ceremony. Presidents and secretaries of other Rotaract clubs in Prayagraj also attended. Their participation demonstrated the coordination, cooperation, and organizational solidarity within the Rotaract family.
Senior Rotarians and office bearers of various clubs congratulated the newly appointed teams and expressed confidence that the new teams would engage the youth in positive activities with a spirit of service, leadership and social responsibility.
Numerous members and young participants, including Navya Talwar, Kritarth Asthana, Sambhav Srivastava, and Parth Yadav, attended the event. Everyone participated enthusiastically and wished the new session a success.
Stage management and vote of thanks: The event was effectively hosted by Interactor Aaradhya Singh, former president of the Interact Club. She led the program in a well-organized and engaging manner. The vote of thanks was presented by Interactor Yashasvi Jain, the newly appointed secretary of the Interact Club. She expressed her gratitude to the chief guest, special guest, senior Rotary Club members, officials from various Rotaract clubs in Prayagraj, and all the guests and participants present.
Beginning of a new chapter of youth leadership and social service: The Induction Ceremony marked a positive start to the new season for both clubs.
