Prayagraj: With the aim of making the new Uttar Pradesh of New India the manufacturing hub of India and a state with one trillion dollar economy, Uttar Pradesh Government’s Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi will leave for a four-day visit to Singapore and Japan along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday evening. During his stay in Singapore and Japan, Minister Nandi will hold G2B dialogue and round table meetings with top companies and investors. During this, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and the Chief Minister will directly communicate with the investors through G2B (Government to Business) meeting and round table meeting and will invite them to invest in Uttar Pradesh, a state of immense possibilities.
On Sunday, February 22nd, late in the evening, Minister Nandi, along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and a full team of officials, will depart from Lucknow for Singapore by a special flight. They will stay at Hotel Shangri-La in Singapore on February 23rd and 24th. During this visit, Minister Nandi will visit the Indian National Army (INA) Memorial, dedicated to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and his army, located in Singapore’s Esplanade Park, to pay tribute to the soldiers who fought in the Indian freedom struggle. The foundation stone for this memorial was laid by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in 1945. Minister Nandi and the Chief Minister will meet with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. During their stay in Singapore on February 23rd and 24th, a mega roadshow of Uttar Pradesh will be held. During this visit, Minister Nandi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will interact with the Indian diaspora. They will also discuss agribusiness, logistics networks, Mapletree, and AI systems with investors like Google, STT Global, as well as data center infrastructure, with Zyfa Group and Olam International. Along with the meeting, he will also meet with investors to discuss the state’s industrial roadmap, policy stability, and business prospects. Representatives of approximately 25 companies will meet in Singapore.
On February 24, Minister Nandi will leave for Tokyo, Japan along with the Chief Minister. Minister Nandi and the Chief Minister will offer flowers at the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in Gandhi Park located in Edogawa city of Tokyo. During their stay in Japan on February 25 and 26, Minister Nandi and the Chief Minister will hold meetings with automobile companies Kubota and Suzuki, semi-conductor company Tokyo Electron and electronics manufacturing company Toshiba, Toyo Denso, Japan Aviation and Nagase Ind Company and will discuss the possibilities of investment in Uttar Pradesh and invite them.
Minister Nandi said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh, a state of immense potential, is steadily progressing towards development. Under the double-engine government, Uttar Pradesh is setting new records of development and world-class infrastructure. This four-day visit to Singapore and Japan, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, will further accelerate investment and the establishment of industries in the state.
