Prayagraj: As part of the Cleanliness Fortnight and public awareness program, Bharat Petroleum organized a tree-planting event and LPG safety clinic in Neebi, Naini, Prayagraj. A total of 1,000 saplings were planted during the program to promote environmental protection and a green environment.
On this occasion, Honorable MLA Shri Piyush Ranjan Nishad, Smt. Geeta Devi, Councilor, Ward No. 04, Shri Tushar Paimode, Regional Manager (LPG), Allahabad and Shri Pawan Bharti, Sales Officer (LPG), Bharat Petroleum were present.
The program was attended by Dr. Prabhakant Pandey, Mr. Sanjeev Pandey, Mr. Dinesh Singh Pankaj and Village Head Mr. Bhupendra Pratap Singh, along with many other dignitaries from the area. The program was coordinated by Mr. Sanjay Singh, Partner, Prakhar Bharatgas. Around 200 villagers enthusiastically participated in the program. At the LPG Safety Clinic organized on this occasion, consumers were given information regarding safe LPG use, timely replacement of safety hoses, keeping the Domestic Pressure Regulator (DPR) closed after use, not using damaged or taped hoses, and maintaining adequate ventilation in the kitchen.
Consumers were also advised to immediately contact the 24×7 LPG emergency helpline number – 1906 in case of a gas leak. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the local community and this initiative reaffirmed Bharat Petroleum’s commitment to environmental protection, community participation and consumer safety.
