BJP leader files case against unknown attackers

Prayagraj: Police have filed another FIR in connection with the vandalism of vehicles during a student protest in Civil Lines against the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the paper leak. BJP Regional Coordinator (Business Cell) Ravindra Kumar Jaiswal has filed an FIR against unknown persons for attempted murder and vandalism.

Ravindra Kumar Jaiswal alleged that he was returning from Ashok Nagar on Saturday evening at around 5 pm. As he approached Subhash Chowk, a large number of unidentified people stopped his car because it had a BJP flag on it. The attackers allegedly threatened to kill the occupants, broke the car windows, and attempted to pull them out. The complaint stated that the driver and his companion, Shekhar Jaiswal, were also present in the car. The attackers were armed with sticks, rods, bricks, and stones. The vehicle was damaged in the attack, and the complainant sustained injuries. He stated that the accused have not been identified, but they may be identified from footage from nearby CCTV cameras.
