Prayagraj: The block-level sports competition of the Kaudihar development block concluded with enthusiasm and sportsmanship on Monday at the sports ground of R.P. Rastogi Inter College, Malak Harhar. The competition was inaugurated by Block Education Officer Virendra Kanaujia and Principal R.P. Rastogi of the college, Dr. Lalji Yadav. They said that sports develop discipline, leadership skills, self-confidence, and team spirit in students, and that excellent performance in sports is essential along with education. Block President Shri Radhe Krishna, Minister Balendra Kumar Pandey participated in the competition and Block Sports Incharge Vineet Singh Yadav conducted the sports competition.
In the competition, students of primary and upper primary schools participated enthusiastically in various events like 100, 200, 400 and 600 meter race, long jump, shot put, discus throw and kabaddi. In various competitions, many players including Vishal Patel (PM Shri Chafri), Anjali (Saraswatipur), Arpit (Budhwana), Shlok (Mohammadpur), Muskan (Uthgi), Aarti (Mubarakpur Uparhar), Aryan Patel (Madhesa), Mrityunjay (Composite Madhesa) performed excellently and secured first and second positions. The winning players were wished best of luck for the district level competition.
Sports instructor colleagues made a significant contribution in making the program successful, in which Raghuvanshmani Tripathi, Dinesh Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Harendra Pratap, Arun Patel, Smriti Mishra, Milan, Shashi Singh, Dhirendra Srivastava, Treasurer Ramlal, Anita Sonkar, Aradhana Yadav, Bipin Kharwar, Deepak Kumar Maurya, Janaki Prasad Yadav, Arvind Kumar Yadav, Suraj Prakash Shukla, Deepak Tripathi, Vineet Tiwari, Shailendra Bahadur Singh, Raghuvansh Mani Tripathi, Dinesh Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Arun Patel, Rajesh Shukla, Madan Mohan Shukla, Madhavi Pal, Shahana, Balveer Yadav, Imran Kaleem, Ajit Kushwaha, Jai Singh, Anil Kumar, ARP Anil Kumar, Sazia Tasneem, Prabhashankar Sharma, Phoolchand Patel, Durgesh Kesarwani, Ajmal Amin Ansari, Rishank Kushwaha, Shivakant Sharma, Vinay Tripathi from BRC and Anil Pandey, along with all the teachers and staff, provided commendable support.
On the closing ceremony, Block Education Officer Mr. Virendra Kanaujia congratulated all the winning players and said that such competitions are crucial for providing a proper platform for rural talent. He urged participants to maintain their sportsmanship and excel in upcoming competitions. Finally, Block Sports Incharge Vineet Singh Yadav expressed his gratitude to the guests, participants, and colleagues.
