Prayagraj: The Rotary Club of Prayagraj Platinum, furthering its commitment to service and social responsibility, distributed free carts to five needy street vendors as part of a special service project held near St. Joseph College Gate, Company Bagh, Prayagraj. The initiative aims to provide self-employment opportunities to economically weaker families, enabling them to earn a self-reliant and respectable livelihood.

On this occasion, Club President and District Secretary Rotarian Ajay Sharma said that Rotary is not just about service, but about bringing positive change to every person in society. He added that these five carts have provided beneficiaries with a sustainable source of employment, enabling them to better support their families. He expressed confidence that such service projects will strengthen the spirit of self-reliance and a respectable life in society. Club Secretary Rotarian Pramay Mittal expressed his gratitude to all the members and collaborators who helped make this service project a success, saying that the true purpose of service is achieved only through collective efforts. He added that Rotary will continue to implement similar public welfare projects to uplift the underprivileged and needy sections of society.

The beneficiaries who received the carts expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Rotary Club, saying that this support is not just a cart for them, but a new beginning for a self-reliant life. This will strengthen their livelihoods and enable them to improve their families’ futures.

Rotarian Manish Garg, media in-charge, said that the purpose of Rotary’s service projects is not just to provide assistance, but to bring lasting and positive change to people’s lives by making them self-reliant. He said, “When a person in need finds employment, not just one person, but the entire family is empowered. This is the true meaning of Rotary’s spirit of service and ‘Create Lasting Impact.'”
