Prayagraj: A new wave of organizational changes has swept through Prayagraj, the prestigious Media Club, which champions the interests of journalism on the banks of the Sangam. Historic appointments have been made to vacant positions, aiming to make the organization more vocal, effective, and organized, which will further amplify the voices of journalists in the future.
This strategic meeting, held in the club’s Harsh Narayan Auditorium, was chaired by club president Anupam Shukla, while the overall framework was finalized under the leadership of co-secretary Santosh Sharma. Following the brainstorming session, capable individuals were appointed to key positions within the media club.
During the meeting, as part of the organizational reshuffle, Vice President Prashant Sharma prominently proposed the name of Arun Sonkar, Editor of ‘Allahabad Express’ for the post of Secretary, which was unanimously approved by the entire House. Along with this, on the proposal of Salman Ahmed, T.K. Pandey was made Treasurer, handing him the important responsibility of financial management. Taking forward the responsibility of the organization’s publication department, Dilip Jaiswal was elected as Publication Minister on the proposal of Executive Member Anurag Dubey and Ajay Kushwaha was elected as Co-Publication Minister on the proposal of President Anupam Shukla, which was unanimously accepted by all. To bring the organization’s activities to a greater level, many militant journalists have been included in the executive committee, in which Abul Kalam Rain, Asad Qureshi, Himanshu Tripathi and Shyamu Kushwaha have been given important places.
Many prominent journalists from the Sangam city were present at this organizational festival. Chiefly present at the event were President Anupam Shukla, Vice President Prashant Sharma, Secretary Arun Kumar Sonkar, Co-Secretary Santosh Sharma, Treasurer T.K. Pandey, Publication Secretary Dilip Jaiswal, Co-Publication Secretary Ajay Kushwaha, Office Incharge G.N. Vaishya, Co-Office Incharge Vilas Gupta, Executive Members Salman Ahmed, Anurag Dubey, Syed Mohammad Aamir, Qari Arfeen, Sushant Shukla, and Rahim Ahmed, along with a large number of journalists.
